Date: April 1 Time: Late Afternoon
"Its beautiful out, You been cooped up in the house all winter long. Instead of starring at your computer screen all night why don't you go out for the day." Fuu mumbled in what could only be described in her best and worse impression of her mother. The green haired girl made her way down the busy city streets. Unfortunately for Fuu she had only 5 dollars in her pocket, leaving very few options in what she could do for the day. Truthfully, all she really wanted to do was go online, but her mother made sure to take her laptop. Luckily she got off easy. Her older brother had baseball practice or Fuu would probably be running laps or dodging balls right about now. Stopping to take a breath she realized she had landed infront of the Game Center Crown. Fuu smiled from ear to ear. "Well, I mean one or two games wont be too bad. And what mother doesn't know wont hurt her." Fuu laughed mischievously and entered the building.

Can't believe that girl, acting like she forgot about what happened in Shibuya...
Shinkirou seethed as he continued shooting enemies in the arcade, the trigger of his plastic gun getting pressed at a rapid pace. After the insane mishap of White Day, the young man had to deal with a Kouin lovey-dovey toward him the entire trip home. Yuki had punched him pretty good for that too--and for what? It wasn't his goddamn fault Yuki's crazy sister had decided to come onto him. I didn't even touch her, christ! he thought indignantly--if he'd slept with Kouin, sure, but he totally didn't deserve that punch to the face for that!
Or the kick in the balls he got later.
Shinkirou frowned as he stared at the screen--another boss was coming up, and this was one Shinkirou had always had issues with. While the pointless cutscene drolled on, Shinkirou took the momentary respite to look at who was passing by. Seeing a green-haired girl who looked like she knew her way around the place, he attempted to flag the girl over.
"Oiii! You! Green haired chick! Wanna co-op with me and take down this next boss?" he pointed his plastic gun at the screen, "I'm crap about beating him, haha..."

Fuu was taken off guard by the boy calling to her. She smiled and made her way over to the game. "Sure I'll play." Fuu said, putting a dollar into the machine. Picking up the plastic gun she hit the start button and began to shoot at the boss. It had been a while since Fuu played this game, most of her friends weren't into shooters.
Thinking back she tryed to remembered the most affective ways to win. Fuu focused on his head. Head shots got to the most points regardless.
"I'm Fuu by the way. Its nice to meet you."

"Inbino Shinkirou, pleasure to--holy crap, you just blew that guy's head off." Whatever flirtatious introduction Shinkirou had planned was lost the second he realized Fuu was headshotting the enemies on the screen with effortless precision. Shinkirou was pretty good at shooters himself, but being shown up by a girl who looked to be still in high school was a teensy bit damaging to the pride.
"Argh, health recovery--" he grumbled as the boss on the screen regained health, shooting off-screen to reload. "So! Fuu-san, what brings a girl like you down here, anyways?" he asked, trying to strike up a casual conversation.

Fuu could hear the boy speaking to her, but her concentration was on the boss. One more shot she though, delivering the final blow to him. "My mother wanted to spend time outside instead of playing video games all day." Fuu giggled.
"She doesn't know I came here. Its been a while since I actually hung out around here. How about you?" Fuu was just talking. She really wasn't sure why. It had been a while since she actually was around a boy she didn't know from school or from one of her brothers friends. Truthfully she was kind of nervous.

"Well, it's plain to see you're clearly following your mother's word!" Shinkirou said with a teasing grin, offering the green-haired girl a playful wink to show he was just having some fun. "After all, she did say she wanted you outside! Walking to the arcade clearly constitutes going outside." he nodded in agreement with his own logic, stifling a curse when he realized his character was going to die if he didn't stop getting hit.
"Mm, I'm just killing some time, to be honest." he said with a smile. And avoiding homework. he added mentally. Not to mention quelling rage. Ugh, can't believe she's acting like that Shibuya stuff didn't happen... he resisted rolling his eyes thinking about it again, and focused on the game itself. He whistled, impressed, when he realized Fuu had done most of the work.
"I take it you play games a lot?"

"You could say that." Fuu laughed, delivering the final blow to the last guy on the level. Turning to the boy she gave him a smile. "I take it you're not much of a video game player. I mean, I don't mean to offend or anything." She had a knack for being rude, when she really didn't mean to. "I mean, i'm sure you probably don't play as much as I do. Aside from tutoring, gaming is pretty much my favorite hobby."
Fuu looked down at the floor, she was making a complete idiot of herself. Shinkirou probably though she was a loser with what she just said. But the truth is, Fuu was fairly confident after these couple of games she would probably be on her way and never see this boy again.

Shinkirou, silently noting how the girl had looked down at the floor, took Fuu's jab in good stride, only laughing in response to his wounded pride. In any other situation he probably would have gotten mad, but this was a new face! He might as well try to leave a good impression. "Nah, you've got it right. Kind of a crap gamer, really. Doesn't make it any less fun!" he said. But when the girl brought up studying...
...oh. A nerd.
His cheerful demeanor didn't falter though, even as he was recalling past tutors he'd dated and how that had ended up. "Wouldn't have pegged you as a tutor! Sounds like you get your hands full a lot?" he motioned briefly for Fuu to walk with him. "I'm not smart enough to be one of those," he laughed as he rubbed the back of his neck, "what's that like?"
