"Yes! Thank you Hime-Chan!" Hatsuko pumped her fist, smiling wildly at the thought of having a bright pink bunny bag of her own. There was no way she could explain why she wanted such a thing to her parents, so this would work out perfectly! Then again...she wouldn't be able to explain how she got the item either. Oh well. At the moment the latter thought was far from her mind. "Aww, but you're missing such a great deal," She muttered quietly upon hearing Kouin's gentle refusal. It was strange to her that she would refuse such a great offer, but the logic behind it did make some sense.
Just then, Hatsuko thought of something that caused her to jump in her seat and grasp lightly at Himeko's arm. "So we can go to one of those 'apartment stores' right Hime-chan?" Hatsu turned shifted her gaze to Kouin, not even realizing her mistaking of words. "And you can still go with us, right Chuushin-san?"

Kouin smiled at Himeko still, seemingly unaware as to where the blonde haired girl's thoughts were turning. Although she'd heard from some classmates that Himeko could be a horrible snob, that didn't really seem to be the case? At least, not that Kouin could tell, but she guessed that knowing someone for three minutes wasn't exactly enough time to get a firm grasp on their character.
"It's okay!" Kouin lifted a hand as Hatsuko talked to her, laughing a little. "I'd rather not waste Himeko-chan's money on something that I can fix anyways. I'm sure she has lots of other things that she would rather buy with it."
"Ah, well, after this I was planning on going to the stuffed toy at the mall." Kouin told Hatsuko with a smile, a sparkle appearing in her eyes. "There's the cutest little stuffed monkey there that I'm finally going to make mine today~!" She was riffling through her bag as she talked, looking for something it seemed. Eventually she found it and held out a photo to the two girls. "See, here? Isn't it the cutest thing? I wonder why it hasn't sold yet though..."
The stuffed monkey in question, could only be described as incredibly creepy. With big, bug eyes that seemed to stare right through you to it's over sized head and shrunken body, there wasn't anything really 'cute' about it.

Himeko couldn't help but smile at Hatsuko's actions. She never understood why her friend was so interested in the commoner's lifestyle. In fact, the princess was so excited, she made a minor slip up. However, Himeko didn't have the heart to tell her so. Though, she was a little curious to why Kouin, didn't pick up on that. Was the little pink haired girl seriously that dense.
"Of course, Hatsu-chan. I haven't been to a department store in a while." Himeko told her, really excited about these turn of events. She hadn't gone shopping for herself, for the past few days. "You know we should check a few other stores, while we're at it. I saw the cutest pair of high heels the other day and I have to have them."
However, once Himeko found out that Kouin was going to join them, her spirits began to diminish. Plus that doll she wanted buy, it was just too freaky. No matter it hadn't sold yet. Especially the eyes, they gave Himeko the shivers. "I've never seen anything like it before." Himeko admitted as she continued to stare at the picture of the freaky monkey. Unsure of what to say next.

The smile on Hatsuko's face stretched ear to ear. She was just so excited! Never had she been to an apartment store, so going for the first time was a really big milestone for the young princess. Just thinking about all the new things she was going to see made the girl giggle like a school girl. "This will be fun!" Hatsuko said, still bouncing slightly in her seat.
As Kouin pulled the picture of the strange stuffed animal out, Hatsuko leaned forward in her seat, furrowing her eyebrows as she scrutinized the picture. The monkey...it was hardly cute. In fact it looked like some strange creature from a different dimension. Well, She began tilting her head a bit, "its no wonder you haven't Hime-Chan. Its really kind of hideous." As always, Hatsuko was honest, even if it was kind of blunt.
Looking up at Kouin, she flashed a small smile. "But if you like it Chuushin-san, it must be cute in a special way."

"Ehhh~?" Kouin tilted her head to the side, blinking a little at the rather lackluster response from Himeko and Hatsuko. "I think it's super cute though." She said with a small pouting frown, turning around the picture and taking a good look at it. "Doesn't it just have eyes that are pleading for you to take it home?"
Clearly, Kouin's sense of cute was rather warped at times.
"Well, that's okay, though! I guess not everyone has such a strong sense of cute." Kouin smiled then, tucking away the picture in her bag. "Ah, but I don't think I should disturb you two on your shopping trip. We both just met, after all, I'd hate to intrude on a good time between two old friends!"

Himeko simply nodded her head, when she heard Hatsuko's comment. She knew her best friend liked to be honest around others, but she never expected the girl to say the words she had been thinking in her head all along. Himeko grabbed her tea cup and finished the last of her latte. "That was really good." She exclaimed.
"To tell you the truth those eye's sort of freak me out." Himeko admitted to Kouin. Choosing to be more honest about the plush doll, after hearing her friend's comment. The more time Himeko spent with Kouin, she began to wonder if the girl was mentally stable. Liking a toy like that, just isn't normal.
When Kouin suggested that she wouldn't accompany the two friends on their shopping trip, Himeko couldn't be happier. She had been hoping an opportunity like this would show up. "That is awfully kind of you Chuushin-san."
Himeko threw a few bills on the table, not caring that she overpaid. She stood up from the table and grabbed Hatsuko's hand, in order to lead her away. "Well, we better be heading out Hatsu-chan. After all, I'm ditching tennis practice for you." She said, before turning to Kouin. "It was a pleasure to meet you, Chuushin-san."

Hatsuko couldn’t disagree more with Kouin, but for the sake of being polite she kept her opinion to herself and said nothing more on the matter. The thought of having such a thing in her room at night made her shudder slightly, and she would rather just forget about the thing anyways. But still, Hatsuko couldn’t help but wonder why in the world Kouin would find that monkey appealing in the least bit. Oh well. Too bad then Chuushin-san!” The princess finally said, pushing the eerie image of the plushie away from her mind. Maybe next time, ne?”
When Himeko stood, the spark of excitement that she had experienced before returned, and the princess found herself smiling from ear to ear. ”Come on let’s go then!” She said standing from her own seat. ”Nice meeting you Chuushin-san. See you later. Hatsuko then found herself pulling lightly on Himeko’s hand eagerly, working her way over to the door.
