Faction: Shitennou
Your Uniform Design
- You have creative freedom on re-designing the boots / shoes, belts, cape if you so wish.
- You may select your own special Shitennou color to add to the uniform, and can utilize it on anything except the white part of the shirt, and the pants. Otherwise you can change up the colors in the boots, shirt piping, and cape.
Attis’ Exceptions:
We ask that Attis’ uniform stick somewhat close to Endymion’s original work. However, you may change up your primary colors, and re-design the boots and cape.
To all Shitennou Players: SWORDS ARE OPTIONAL! Don’t feel compelled to draw them in if it’s not in your character’s background to essentially use them as a primary weapon.
Who You Are:
As the newly chosen champions of protecting the Earth, King Endymion’s departure and message to you was to protect the people of Earth from any influence that could be deemed “detrimental” to them. For several years now you’ve been observing the Crystal Palace, the Memorial, and any other places of reverend battleground that the Shadow Army trounced on in the past. The Royal Family has had no knowledge of your existence, as you’ve remained hidden in the shadows of everyday life, only observing from places of importance until the right time comes.
And that right time seems to be now. With the shift in the winds of power, you sense an ominous change similar to the days of the Shadow Army. When the Senshi start warring against each other, you’ll be there to stop them both.
Your Goals:
King Endymion seemed to know that the Shadow Army might return in another form some day. As long as the Ginzuishou was around, and the Moon Kingdom residing on Earth, the people of this planet would always be in danger. To ensure that the Earth’s inhabitants would be protected during another potential war, he assigned you and the other Shitennou as the sole purveyors of this immense task. Your two primary objectives are to find your leader, Attis, and halt the activities of the Shadow Army and any power struggles that could arise from their revival. Sadly, this also means hedging any progression that the Moon Kingdom’s newly appointed Senshi might try to perform against their doppelgangers. It has become a unanimous mentality among the Shitennou that the Moon Kingdom’s presence has become more of a hindrance than a help, with the Ginzuishou being the central focus of controversy to this theory.
The Pact of Endymion:
The Pact of Endymion is considered the focusing force behind the Shitennou’s actions. Therefore, Shitennou remain of neutral party to both the Mirrors AND the Planetaries since Endymion’s words made it seem, to them, that it was the Moon Kingdom’s fault in the first place for Earth being so vulnerable to all of this trouble. Oddly enough, the only words of advice that the Shitennou would take with more credence would most likely be the Star Sworn Knights since they, too, are suspicious of the Planetary senshi.
Over time, it is possible for Shitennou to “stray” from this pact while keeping up the façade to the rest of his comrades.
Player Information:
- The Shitennou are considered an already established group. Meaning you all know each other and have actually been working side-by-side for several years with each of them monitoring the activities (or lack thereof) of the Shadow Army. Only Attis will start out not knowing about his powers, and the identities of Shitennou.
- To help find Attis, the Shitennou have a strong vibe or connection to each other. That’s how they ultimately found each other years ago in the first place. Finding Attis will be a matter of getting that all-too-familiar “tug” in your intuition that tells you there’s something special about him. CONVINCING him of who he is might be another chore all together.
- Until the senshi get their next level of power-ups, the Shitennou are currently MORE powerful than them. This is due to the fact that the senshi powers are split in half between the Planetaries and the Mirrors, both using the same power sources at the same time. A “fair fight” against a Shitennou currently stands at two-to-one just to be at the bare minimum task of hedging off your attacks. Obviously this counts only for measurement of sheer magical powers. Physical fights are still completely based on the realistic capabilities of all characters involved.
- The Shitennou have made it their personal affair to keep a watchful eye on places of extreme importance. When deciding on occupations, schooling, or extra curricular activities, try leaning towards places that give you access to a lot of information about the Senshi and the Crystal Palace.
