Fuu ran her index finger down the line of books. It had been a while since she had picked out a new book. Peeking her head out from the bookshelves, she let out a heavy sigh. The tables were still empty.
"Ugh, Still nothing" she groaned quietly to herself. It had seemed that the person she was supposed to tutor today had forgotten, leaving Fuu with a few hours of free time. Unfortunately, Fuu didn't have the heart to leave just in case that person decided to show.
Up and down she paced through the stacks. But nothing had caught her eye. Picking up a few books that looked slightly interesting, she headed back to tables and sat down. Fuu picked up one book and flipped through the first couple of pages. She shrugged her shoulders and placed it to her left. Repeating the processed she flipped through the next one, and then the next until all the books were done.
"Maybe I can just get a head start on the next science chapter."

After parting rather abruptly with the adorable Kyoutei at the mall, Hiyoke went along her way and bought that nice leather jacket she had been looking at for weeks. Sporting the new item, she walked down the streets of Crystal Tokyo, a cigarette perched between her lips, trying to figure out what she wanted to do next. It was a slow day, especially since a storm seemed to be brewing...
Even though she had nothing to do right now, Hiyoke stopped in mid-step as she walked past the library.
Crap.
She had a paper to research!
Groaning, she snuffed out her spent smoke and pocketed the butt, walking into the building with lack of emotion - even more then usual. She wandered into the science section of the library and began to browse amongst the books, trying to find the one she needed for her paper - about the evolution of geckos. Mentally, Hiyoke cursed her science teacher for being so whacky at times.
As she looked intently through the books, she sighed angrily, and turned on her heel, but in doing so crashed into someone else. Hiyoke stumbled backwards and bumped lightly into the bookshelf.
"Whoops...sorry about that--" She observed the girl she had bumped into, who had light green hair and seemed to be browsing through books rapidly, "--Green-kun. Wasn't payin' attention, I guess..."

For a moment, Fuu was at a loss for words. She had been in her own little world. Regaining her composure, She smiled at the girl.
"Oh don't worry about it." She laughed. Fuu took a good look at Hiyoke, she had never seen her in the library before.
"Do you need help finding something?" Fuu paused. "I don't work here, but this place is sort of my second home."

Well, at least the girl she bumped into didn't seem to react too poorly. Hiyoke grinned at the other girl sheepishly, waving her hand slightly.
"Eh, I suppose you could say that," She admitted with a low chuckle, "My science teacher is a total nutso. She assigned everyone the most bizarre topics, and she decided to give me the evolutionary chain of geckos. Weird, right?"
Turning back to bookshelves, Hiyoke glanced up at the tomes there. She reached a hand up to scratch her head, looking really baffled at all of the titles there.
"I don't know where the hell to start. Do you have any ideas, green-kun?" Hiyoke turned her attention back towards Fuu as she said this, cocking an awkward smile at her.

Fuu smiled a big smiled. "Oddly enough, I know a few books that would help you out." The green haired girl whipped around quickly and began pulling a few books off the shelves.
"I Know it sounds weird but I actually had to do a report similar to that a while ago." Fuu laughed. "Except I could do which ever animal I wanted." Fuu handed the three books to the girl. "I'm Fuu by the way. Its nice to meet you" Fuu bowed politely.
