Birthdate: June 12th (is a Gemini, ruled by the planet Mercury)
Personality: Tsurara is what we call the bad luck girl, whose world is completely ruled by Murphy's Law; anything that the can go wrong, will go wrong whenever Tsurara is around. Most people after meeting her tend to stir clear of her. In school everyone knows her as the "Jinkusu-neesan" (jinxed girl) Don't get her wrong she's got friends, just none who are willing to deal with her bad luck streak.
Tsurara is kind, sweet, overly friendly (smothering), needy, outgoing, and has a wild imagination which sometimes gets the best of her. She loves to write; be it poetry, song lyrics, short stories, or long novels. However, her true passion is journalism. She spends most of her time sniffing out new stories, and writing in her little notebook. She's good at exaggerating things, using words, and grabbing the reader’s attention.
She pretty much throws herself at her friends, and never gets why people do not want her around. Sometimes she gets hurt when they ditch her. Tsurara is very hungry for company and loves to talk. She can talk the hind leg off a mule if she had the notion. This is another reason why most people can not tolerate her. She's also a blabber mouth. The girl can not keep a secret about anyone or anything. She has to tell someone the story, just as badly as she wants to hear it.
English and creative writing are her best subjects in school. Most teachers see Tsurara as a journalist, or novelist. She's pretty average in everything else. All around, the only A she has in school is in reading, writing, and English. Everything else she barely pushing C's.
Tsurara is a daydreamer, and that’s the rout of her problems. However, mainly her problem is that she's also too damn curious about things. "Curiosity killed the cat" is a phrase that works best for this girl. She can't resist a new story, or mystery. She has to get to the bottom of it even it if kills her.
She is a very daring character, and this quality most of the time makes her fearless. Tsurara will go where other's would think twice about going. She's also very silly at times and fragile and emotional. She takes a lot of things to heart. And she can not take criticism about her writing. She is also very passionate about things.
As Sailor Mercury Tsurara tends to play the role of a detective type of person. Even though things get messed up and most of the time she gets caught. She sees the persona as Sailor Mercury as a indestructible smart super hero who can get out of any endeavor. However deep down she knows, she's only as strong as the next human and can and will die if she is not careful. She tries to put herself off as a cool, mysterious person and exerts her knowledge as best she can be it unless or not.
Physical Appearance: standing at 5 foot one Tsurara has orange-red hair, that ends about mid back. She has blue green eyes, and has freckles one her face that aren't too pronounced. Her skin is fair. She wears a lot of blues because that's her favorite color. Her fashion taste is mix and match when she out and about and not at school, she likes to wear hats and sometimes if the weather is nice she wears a flower in her hair. and comfortable at home when she is by herself. At school she wears her dark blue sailor uniform. She has a lean hour glass figure tick bottom small top. She had bright smile, and a very welcoming friendly aura about her. One the attractive meter Tsurara ranks around the cute and adorable Oh I want to cuddle it forever level. If she can help it where would spend her whole life where flip-flops. because she likes to show off a cutely painted toe nails.
Strengths: Her fearlessness, Tsurara will go where others will not go. With her, if there is a will there is a way, and if the air vent or narrow creepy passage way is the only way to get to where she needs to be... she will go in it. Her truthfulness is sometimes a good quality, and her ability to create a diversion is always good too. Problem solving is another good treat from her.
Weaknesses:HER DAY DREAMING! Her curiosity is her biggest weakness and downfall - it never fails. Tsurara is the girl who will open Pandora's Box of Chaos. She is also one to give into temptation. And never forget that this girl has the worst bad luck streak EVER! Be warned anything and everything that can go wrong, will go wrong whenever Tsurara is put in change of something. Tsurara is clumsy, too.
Dreams: Tsurara dreams of becoming a famous novelist, journalist. When she was little she wanted to be a traveling poet... but that died when her father told her that wouldn't make any money.
Habits: Chewing* on the eraser of her pencils, or the back of her pens when she is in deep thought. If she doesn't have a pen or pencil she will start biting her nails.
Background: Tsurara was born June 12 to the Aoimoto family. Who have had a long line of politicians, lawyers, and doctors. They had raised her in high hopes that she would follow into one of those professions. However as the years went by it appeared that a very strong wind had knocked the apple very very far from the family tree. Tsurara turned out to be the black sheep of the family, with foolish ambitious, bad luck, and knack for getting into all sorts of trouble.
Tsurara is the youngest of three kids. Her older brother and sister are already very highly respected people, and she was well, to put it bluntly not something to be proud of.
She was six years old and already knew that her parents were not proud of her. Her overly imaginative way scared the crap out of her mother who is very narrow minded and religious.
She never met her older brother. But was constantly teased and pushed around by her brilliantly smart and perfect older sister, Hikari.
Her parents tried everything to get their through to get with the program even going so far as making her ambitions to become a writer seem stupid and pointless. Her father one night even burned all her note books.
They even sent her to a strict catholic boarding school for a year to see if that could cure her of her overly active imagination. However it didn't work.
They're last way of showing their displeasure with her ways at age 15 they disowned her and cut her out of their family will. Tsurara was forced to live on her own.
This was something that really hurt Tsurara deeply. Because her parents didn't even tell her that they were going to kick her out. She just came home from school one day and found all her clothes and stuff on the sidewalk. It was her sister who told her that she was no longer a member of the Aoimoto family.
Two days later her older sister Hikari threw a party "celebrating being an only child."
Tsurara thought things weren't going to get better. She spent the first two months living on the streets. She got a tip from a friend that jobs were being offered at a local motel. So she got a job there as a cleaning maid. For her work she was given a steady pay check and a room to live in.
At 16 she got a better job as a hostess at a restaurant. Where she was able to save up the money to get a small studio apartment in city. And that's where she's been living for now.
Becoming Sailor Mercury:
Right now Tsurara has no idea that she is Sailor Mercury. The persona just lives in the dreams. For the past year, Tsurara has been having these dreams about different parts of the past Sailor Mercury previous lives. Be it her being a princess during the silver Millennium times or being a Sailor Senshi during the 1990's or during the time she died. In all the dreams her past self is trying to help her see that she is the new Sailor Mercury. She does it through reflections, or trying to get her to follow her to the Crystal Palace where she can be reborn. However as of now Tsurara spirit get's too scared or something happens to prevent it from happening.
Lately the dreams have been stepping it up a bit and she's starting to see visions of the past senshi during everyday functions.
My idea is that Tsurara get's awakened on a field trip to the crystal palace. She strays away from the group because she sees a vision of what looks to be the past Sailor Mercury in her princess dress calling her to follow her.
And something happens, maybe she stumbles upon a moon kitty or upon people stilling something sacred from the palace and trys to stop them, and things get out of hand and through that she awakens as a sailor senshi.

Attack Name:Shining Ice Typhoon
Description of Attack:Sailor Mercury with both hands raised above her head, calls out "SHINING" a soft blue ball of cold energy appears in the center of her hands. As she spins around and calls out "ICE!" and when she brings her arms down and throws the energy ball she calls out "Typhoon" and the energy turns into millions of ice shards that come out at you in a spiral. If you get cut by one of these ice shards you will feel a numbing sensation that will last for 15 seconds.

Roleplaying Sample:
Tsurara bit down on the eraser of her number two pencil, as she walked off the high school campus. She was in deep thought. Her friends had long since ditched her, somewhere between the time she tripped over her untied shoe laces, and when she stood up and realized to her horror that she had landed in mud. It was a nasty moment, but just like all the other crazy disasters that seemed to fall in her way... Tsurara seemed to pull through it as best she could. For this high school senior there was never a day where anything went right for her.
“Humm…” she thought, as her bright green eyes glanced up in at the clear blue sky. In her right hand she held her note book, where she wrote down any good idea that popped into her head for any story that came her way. “She was ardently pleased with the romantic gesture… yes ardently would be a good word to use. Means passionately and it fit’s the moment…” she continued to think out loud, as she walked down the busy sidewalk. There were many students walking back, and forth from the buss stop and on to the campus, and some heading to the buss stop to go home or wherever their hearts desired.
Tsurara continued to walk oblivious to everyone and everything around her. “Her senses drank in the lovely smell the roses that he gave her….. Hummm…” she stopped walking for a moment, “unable to control his deep passionate urge, he grabbed her and pulled her to him and kissed her.” Tsurara giggled contently with this idea. She continued walking over to the crosswalk, and passed all the students who were waiting for the signal to say it was okay to start crossing the street.
Just as Tsurara was about halfway through the intersection; completely unaware of the on coming buss that was heading straight for her...
