Personality:
Perhaps it is because Morpheus lacks any real memories beyond those of serving the Royal Family, but the young woman also seems to lack any sort of coherent personality. The closest thing to her “true” self is a quiet, thoughtful and reserved; however, this is perhaps just the face Morpheus takes between situations. You see, the twenty-two year old’s personality depends solely on where and when she finds herself.
Perhaps because she is the ward of King Helios, Morpheus finds that her persona often mimics his. On a day to day basis, her personality is that of a quiet young woman, with a strong sense of duty and great amounts of love (though the latter goes often unseen, as she thinks that she has no one to love). Like her King once was, she finds herself mostly a solitary figure, preferring to slip away and into herself once her work is done, not needing to wear an emotional/psychological costume. When she is alone and simply being herself, Morpheus is serene and languid. She splays herself over furniture to read old volumes of philosophy and theory. She walks and talks slowly, wistfully.
If she is left alone for too long Morpheus has a tendency towards depression. This stems back to her waking self, unsure of who and what she was doing in this strange world. She will begin to philosophize on her own existence, which ends with her feeling a strange mixture of melancholy and rage. However, she has it down to a pat to hide her more vivid emotions under those of her duty and grace.
However, at the drop of a word from the King or any of his family, Morpheus would become stiff, regal in her bearing. Her actions become precise and second nature. There is no time for philosophy when she is ordered as the King’s bodyguard, only action. She prefers non-confrontational methods of doing things, and does not like to work with others, trusting only herself to truly get the job done (though she does willingly work with her fellow Knights, the Sailor Senshi are a whole other game). Her non-confrontational methods mean lacking any physical violence; though, she would if it was in protection of the King. Her choice method to deal with anything and everything is to use her mind and her ability to slip into and walk the dreams of others.
Sometimes, Morpheus muses that this may perhaps be who she truly is, a woman of action and duty. This pleases her, because more than anything she considers herself a tool of the kingdom and wishes to whole heartedly serve them, and if this is who she needs to be to serve them, then it is who she wishes to be. However, Morpheus well knows that dedication and duty do not make a whole person, and she constantly feels that a piece of her is lacking.
Physical Appearance:
Looking more like a nymph or a dryad, Morpheus’ physical appearance runs counter to what might be expected of a girl with a God’s name. She is thin, short and bony. The little bit of meat on her bones is around her bosom, giving her just the shadow of a female’s softness. However, her face is strikingly clear in its femininity—sharp, high cheek bones and button nose, pale devastatingly teal eyes starred with dark long lashes. The only masculine feature to her face is her jaw-line, which is square and stubborn.
Morpheus’ hair is, for the most part, the most masculine thing about the young woman. The dark auburn locks are kept short, and not short as in chin-length or falling mid-neck, but short as in a young man’s haircut. The pieces are layered and feathered, and rather than worn spiked or any sort of nonsense, Morpheus keeps her locks flat. The sides are cut away to reveal her ears, with only a few strands left in front of said ears, which are kept slightly longer and add a slight frame to her face. Her fringe is kept just as short as the rest of her locks, and falls about an inch up from her eyebrows.
The one thing that is noticeably different with Morpheus’ hair is that within the short dark locks, she wears one a long “lock” of “hair” pinned in front of her ear on the left side of her head, which falls just below the top curve of her bosom. This strand of “hair” is wrapped in white silk and has two peacock feathers attached at the end. There is no real hair under the silk, just a few pieces of yarn that were strung into Morpheus’ hair. Why and where the pseudo side-ponytail came from, is something that happened after the young woman had awakened. She added it as a nod to her reason for being—it is crafted to look like the tail of a dream catcher, which is the name of the source of her power and as such she has a fondness for the addition to her hair.
As for other differences in Morpheus’ appearance, she has a great number of body modifications. While a quiet, rational, reserved girl might not have such a great number of holes in her body, Morpheus does. Both of her ears are pierced thrice: twice in the lobe and once in the upper shell of cartilage. Her nose is pierced on both nostrils, in her left nostril she wears a hoop with two chains that connect to her upper left ear ring, and on her right nostril she wears a simply crystal stud. The flesh just below her lip is pierced and she wears a silver ball stud. Her right eyebrow is pierced twice, once with a hoop (this she wears closest to her nose) and the second time with a silver stud.
Strengths:
Dedication, Morpheus considers this her best and brightest strength. She is dedicated, without any second thoughts to the Royal Moon family. It is because of this dedication that she has any actual power—that being the Dream Catcher. It is from this dedication to the King that she draws all of her strength and her mental stability to continue on, even in the face of no discernable past.
Weaknesses:
Lack of sense of self, while all of the Star Sworn Knights have a lack of self before their duties, Morpheus feels this lack acutely all of the time (and she believes that she is aware of it more so than the others). She doesn’t speak of it, knowing it will make her vulnerable (and in not speaking of it, it leaves her even more vulnerable). She fears that without her dedication and her duty she will be nothing and no body. This fear can get in the way of her common sense, and it can make it hard for her to work well and reach out to others.
Dreams:
To serve the King and his family wholly and completely, and to perhaps one day find love (only if it fits into her first dream).
Habits:
Morpheus has the awful habit of chewing on her lips. As such she often has chapped and split flesh. This she does when she is nervous or simply pleased and reading, it does not really matter. Another habit the young woman possesses, is when she is angry or annoyed with a situation she will begin to speak faster, and as the situation progresses, the faster she will speak and deeper her voice will go. Other than that, Morpheus has been known to tap her foot if she is bored.
Background:
Background? What background? History is a thing of the past, veiled and far away—the focus should be on the present and if it must be on the past, it should only be on the way that it shaped the current day. Morpheus considers herself to be something shapeless, a piece of putty ready to be whatever she must for the King or any of the royal family, should they need her.
Once this would have bothered her.
When she first woke the lack of memories threatened to drive her insane. She did not understand how she could not know anything about herself, no name, no nothing. She was empty, shapeless, and it terrified her. The King taught her restraint, taught her to respect her lack of past, and to embrace what she was there for: the protection and betterment of the present. She was a special case, even amongst the Star Sworn Knights. She became unusually close to the King, but it was necessary—her job, her duty, her reason for being deemed it so.
While she shared the job of guarding the King with Zelus, she shared something with Helios that even the other guardian did not. She could cross worlds with him. She was his guard in Elysion and on Earth. To complete just such a task, Helios crafted for her the Dream Catcher, a chocker that allowed Morpheus to slip her consciousness into the dream world, and beyond that—into the dreams of others. As such, his trinket is Morpheus’ most valued item.

Description of Attack:
The Dream Catcher allows Morpheus to do two things: one is to cross the threshold of Earth into Elysion, so she might protect the King in both realms, and the other is to allow her to step into the dreams of others and memorize those dreams.

Roleplaying Sample:
“M’lady.” It was some nameless knight of the kingdom, rugged handsome features, but entirely forgettable who held open the door for her. And he called her m’lady, she was a knight too—a better one than he.
She felt awful thinking that, but perhaps she could blame it on the vicious conversation she had just watched between some random passer-bys. Perhaps they were married, sworn to each other and deeply in love, but the words burned her ears. Maybe they got off on those underhanded remarks, Morpheus did not know. However, she did know they had turned her thoughts suddenly snarky, which she did not appreciate.
There was no need for her to blend in with those people. She was not called out by the King to complete some mission that dealt with them, and as such there was no reason in the kingdom for her to take on their energy. She could just be her. But who was her? Who was Morpheus exactly? Perhaps she had been reading too much existentialism recently, but identity had suddenly become of great interest to her.
She had far too much time on her hands. She did not hate the Senshi. She could not! However, Morpheus envied them. Their power came as second breath to them; there was no thought or real process behind it. They did not have to worry about losing their source of power and becoming no body.
No body… Is that what she would become? Without King Helios, without the Dream Catcher, was Morpheus just a nameless face? She had no life before this to speak of, and she was not sure she had life after this. To die in battle, that would be preferably, she considered. Then she would not have to worry about finding herself in a crowd of people. Naming herself, what a strange thought—she was Morpheus, what more did she need to know?
But that time would never come, she told herself, listening to the harsh tap-tap of her heeled boots on the tiled floor of the castle. She would never need to lose Morpheus. It was who she was and always would be. The Dream Catcher would never leave her, she would never lose it. She was as she was and always would be. Worrying over possibilities made her weak, and by such weakness made the King vulnerable. Not that he was ever truly vulnerable. He was a powerful man, more powerful than she could ever hope of being, but even in her lack of strength it was her duty to protect him from all dangers.
Even if she now shared that scared duty with a bunch of teenaged brats. Not brats, she corrected herself, shaking her head, disturbed by the colloquialism she’d used. No, she shared the duty with soldiers of light, the Sailor Senshi. They were more worthy than she could ever hope of being, even if they were so very green in comparison to her years in serving the kingdom.
Even so, Morpheus knew that they could never truly replace her. She stopped, her boots skidding on the floor, a shrill whistle of sharp heel and hard stone. Looking down at her long, pale fingers, she shuddered. Could they?
