Himeko took another glance of herself in her full length mirror, admiring the costume she had gotten for herself. The teen had definitely had not gone wrong with her princess costume. She was sure some people would find her costume too gaudy. the purple sparkly dress was the kind you saw on those sweet sixteen shows. However Himeko was still in love with it.
Taking one more glance in the mirror, the blond added a touch of more makeup before putting on her diamond tiara. Himeko had to hurry, she wanted to take one one look at the decorations before the guests started to arrive. The party planner had done an amazing job turning the Hisakino mansion into a haunted house in a week. it was going to be the party of the season.
"Well we can't keep everyone waiting." The girl told her refection before making her way downstairs. After all, what's a party without it's hostess.

Kaede sincerely hoped she had the right place..."But I think it's right," she mumbled, staring at the door. She'd just arrived, standing there for a few minutes. She had a lot to think about...it was her first time going to a party in ages, anyway. Was she too early, late, was this even the right place?
And the part of her that wasn't worrying about any of this was wondering if she'd be laughed at. She growled slightly as she looked down at her costume; a dark brown mini-dress with long socks, loafers, and a pair of cat-ears on her head. It was the cheapest thing she could find at such short notice...the shop-owner had said it was a costume from a popular video-game, but if that was the case, then why hadn't Kaede ever heard of it?
Find out if this is the right place or not, Kaede, she told herself, shivering as a sudden bit of breeze blew by. Quickly finding Himeko's phone number, she dialed it and held her cell phone to her ear. "Ask if it's the right place, that's it," she muttered.

Himeko was making her way down the grand staircase, when she heard her cell phone ring. Who can be calling me now? She wondered as she pulled the bedazzled object out of her dress. Noticing the name on the caller i.d., Himeko let out a small smile. She hadn't really expected for anyway to get lost. Her mansion was pretty huge, but not the biggest around here.
Poor Hayashi-san, she must be in trouble if she needed to find directions to her house. Tossing some of her lose blond curls to side, Himeko placed her iphone on her ear and said. "Moshi Moshi Hayashi-san, do you need an help getting to the mansion? If you want i could get my driver to pick you up."

Kaede stood straighter at the sound of Himeko's voice. "Ah, Hisakino-san," she said. "I'm...I don't know if I'll need help. This sounds very silly, but I'm standing at a mansion right now, and I need to know if it's the right one. I don't want to bother anyone else, you see." Despite her calm and cold voice, Kaede was a little bit embarrassed at what she was saying. A very, very faint blush appeared in her face as she described the place and gave out the address.
"Do...do I have the right one?" she asked. "I don't see anyone else out here, so I'm not exactly certain."

"That's my address." Himeko exclaimed as she made her way toward the door. Honestly, she was glad that she didn't have to send someone after the blue haired girl after all. "You just happen to be one of the first guests to arrive. I think the others are already in the ballroom." She continued as she opened the doors of her mansion.
"Thanks for coming to my party." The blond greeted as she studied Kaede's costume. "I didn't know you were into video games."

Kaede hit the "off" button her phone as Himeko opened the doors, and stared at her. She pocketed the phone and rubbed at her face a little, trying to get the slight blush out. "I'm not...really," she said as she walked inside. "This was just the cheapest I could find at the time...I didn't know it was a video game character until after I bought it." She hoped Himeko would believe her...She didn't want to be labeled as a gamer that night.
"You said everyone else was in the ballroom?" she quickly changed the subject. "If I took you away from them, I apologize." Looking around the inside, Kaede had to work hard to hide her amazement. It was huge, a lot bigger than her own home. Wonder how she can live here, though...or anyone, really.

Honestly, Kaede's costume choice didn't reall bother her. "Relay Hayashi-san," she reassured the older girl. "It really suits you. You don't think I went overboard with my costume?" Himeko added thinking maybe wearing a real diamond tiara had been a little too much.
"To yell you the truth, I haven't even made it to the ballroom yet." The blond admitted as she began leading Kaede down the hall. "Stay close or else you'll get lost." Once they reached the ballroom, which looked like a set in a hollywood horror movie, Himeko turned to Kaede and asked. "What do you think?"

Kaede wasn't sure if Himeko had truly gone overboard exactly...what princess didn't have a tiara or jewels? But she was a bit wary of the fact that Himeko's tiara looked a bit too real. "I'd be careful with it...Might get stolen," she intoned, pointing toward it and nodding slightly.
And she didn't doubt the warning that she'd be lost for a second. It was a huge place! Kaede wasn't sure if she'd be able to avoid getting lost even if she lived here...how Himeko did it, she had no idea. And as for the ballroom decor... "What do I think?" she echoed, looking around. To tell the truth, she'd seen this in a lot of horror films before. Not exactly refreshing, but she could tell that it'd taken quite a job to put it all together. And she was working on politeness. (And, she had to admit, it was well-done!) "I think it looks great, Hisakino-san," she smiled a tiny bit. "Just as long as no one faints of fright.
