Nothing seemed to happening from where Kaede stood. That was a good sign, wasn't it? If the...blender...had indeed caught the other girl, wouldn't it have run out of the alley and come for her? So if nothing had come out yet, then maybe she was alright.
"Ugh, I can't stand here not knowing," Kaede muttered, massaging her temples again as she looked around for some sort of weapon. There had to be something she could use in case that thing was still alive--Her eyes settled on some nearby trash cans. The lids would be as good as anything, she supposed. Gritting her teeth again, Kaede quickly stalked towards one of the cans, lifting the lid off and holding it in front of herself as she moved back towards the alley. She'd use the lid as a shield (Kaede only hoped that the blades couldn't pierce metal) and maybe as something to hit it with.
It was worth a shot. As Kaede entered the alley again, she looked around for Bao-Yu. Funny, she seemed to have vanished--Kaede shuddered a tiny bit, hoping she hadn't been blended or something. "Hey...Hey, other girl. Where are you?" she called out.

The Smooth Shocker seemed to deflate just a little bit as the girl that stayed behind ducked beneath its not inconsiderable spray of chocolate goodness. That wasn't nice, the human girl could have at least had the decency to let it hit her with its chocolate, if only because she was between it and its mistress.
And then off she went! It was downright disrespectful!
The buzzing of the blender toned down to a dull murr as it toddled off towards where the one girl had fled.
But then the mistress spoke, with the voice of a thousand most beautiful kitchen appliances.
"Will It Blend? Will It--bzzzzt?!" it carolled hopefully, extending its blades upwards. It would help, and she would love it the most! Never mind that other silly girl, its mistress needed it!

It almost seemed anti-climactic in a sad way. Arawn’s eyes kept watch from around a dark corner as the blender toddled its way toward Kaede. Meanwhile on-lookers were perplexed and horrified at the same time. They knew that something like this shouldn’t be walking about, but now that it was becoming like a docile puppy looking for its master, some people were figuring this all an act.
“Must be some sort of cosplay demonstration…” an individual muttered.
Another one looked to the first and asked, “Is there a new game store opening up or something? Perhaps this is a promotional event.”
A bead of exasperation rolled down Arawn’s brow, “Geez, they think this is all a joke.” It might as well have been given the nature of how…utterly cute the inanimate object was acting. Aggression didn’t seem to be its strong suit; it seemed more lovesick than anything else.
“Ugh, time to go be a party crasher I guess.”
If it weren’t for the fact that she had to know if this girl was one of them she would have probably left the scene long ago. With a nimble hop to the next building, she waited her chance for the mechanical kitchen wonder to meander by before she snuck up right behind it. As much as Arawn would have loved to go all out on this thing, it was quite obvious that perhaps the level of aggression should be toned down to a simple…kick in the tush.
Crossing her arms she lifted up her right leg and bucked it out forward aimed at the back of the blender’s head and waited for a response.

The blades went upwards, and Kaede flinched despite herself, jerking the trashcan lid forward a little in a "Stay back!" gesture. Why the thing was looking at her so much she had no idea...but this, combined with the steadily-worsening head-ache was just making her day even more miserable! What did the thing want?! "I don't blend," she said, trying to keep her voice calm as she nervously eyed the blades. Those things certainly looked sharp enough to cut humans...
Her thoughts were forced away from the creature before her when a girl in a rather familiar-looking outfit appeared, kicking it. Kaede dodged to the side to avoid it, staring at the newcomer. Now that she looked at the outfit again, there were a few differences between it and the ones that the Senshi had worn...namely the black body. "What are--?" she began, frowning a little. Weren't the Senshi dead? Why was this girl here, if that was the case, and why was her outfit black instead of white?
"What--Argh!" Kaede suddenly cried out as another jolt of pain made itself known, making her see spots this time. She found her knees buckling, her body falling to the ground in a sitting position. Forcing herself to hold onto the lid, she fumbled around in her pocket for the pen, tugging it out and gripping it tightly. Since holding it last time had reduced the pain somewhat, it should work now, right? Her forehead started to burn a little bit, too--right in the center where the beginnings of a symbol were appearing.

There came such a time in every kitchen appliance's life where it needed to get serious and take it like blender. It seemed to jerk oddly as it went tumbling from the testing kick in the bum. It might have been something of a short, but it was entirely possible that was exactly what it needed.
It got to it's crazy little feet, grabbing some random trash as it did so to stuff inside. It, obviously, would blend whereas the girls seemed rather immune to its melee attack. That was fine, for there were only so many times one could dodge the great sparking spray of blended goodness.
Or, perhaps, they were just a little too competent, despite the fact that its mistress was starting to get glowy.
"IT WILL BLEND!" the particularly unusual monster of the day announced. Dials spun, buttons depressed, and googly eyes boggled. "OM NOM NOM!"
For great justice, it attacked.
For the shiny.
And suddenly, it was probably a very bad idea to be anywhere near the adorable little blender.

"B-Back off..." Kaede hissed, trembling in pain as she quickly brought the lid up again, trying to block the cute but crazy creature. She crawled backwards a few steps, jabbing the lid-shield forward a few times, trying to push back the blender. Hoping the blades didn't cut the metal. For some reason, she felt an urge to defend not just herself, but the pen as well, holding it away from her and out of reach of her attacker.
The head-ache lightened, just a little bit, as she tightened her grip on the pen. She didn't know why...why that, or why the creature wanted to get at it, but she wouldn't let him have it! "I..s-said...Get away!" she hissed again through clenched teeth, lashing a foot out at the blender as well, trying to avoid the blades. The burning on her forehead intensified somewhat.
Say it...Say it...
Wait. Say what? "C...Cro..." Kaede tried to get out. The hell am I saying?!

The light kick did little to deter the creature from its impending path of attacking the poor girl with the partial running ability. But seeing the insignia flare up on her head was a sure sign that this poor victim was one of them. It appeared that help was to be in order.
This time Sailor Arawn got serious. Seeing that electrical sparks were flaring in all directions, she had to be more decisive in the approach. Needless to say, she wasn’t all that concerned with the welfare of the people passing her by. One in particular was having a field day taping the whole scene on his cell phone, which made him a prime candidate for being the toss ball. He was of nerdy stock, and you could tell that he probably didn’t have a girlfriend…nor would he ever.
Surprise and glee crossed his face when Arawn turned around and gripped him by the wrist. But soon that happiness faded when she hard-swung him into a full fledged launch at the blender. The nerd screamed like a sissy as he hurled toward the kitchen appliance with trepidation.
With a look of complete seriousness, Arawn stared right as Kaede and commanded, “The circumstances have changed so now I will tell you. It doesn’t write notes, it writes destinies. You know what to say, so just say it.”
Armed with that information, she hoped it would be enough to discreetly inflect the hint about its true powers. In the meantime, she waited for the blender to recover and planned on engaging the thing should it attempt to interfere with Kaede revealing her new persona.

Through the pain, Kaede saw the darker senshi looking right at her. Her grip tightened on the pen for a moment, the pain dulling slightly. Oh, she better not want it, too...Kaede was not letting go of this thing, not for a monster, or a "hero." And yet, despite the fact they were making eye contact, Kaede was still surprised when the other addressed her.
“The circumstances have changed so now I will tell you. It doesn’t write notes, it writes destinies. You know what to say, so just say it.”
She was nuts. "What are you eve--Aah!" Kaede hissed and shut her eyes, pain flaring again. That and it felt that it was getting harder to hold the lid up, keep the crazy little appliance from slicing her to pieces. Kaede grit her teeth and curled up in a ball on the ground, face to the concrete. What words was the other girl talking about?! She didn't know any--
Cronus...
Holding the pen to her chest, Kaede shuddered before gasping out, hurriedly, "Cronus Planet Power...Make-Up!" A burst of light emitted from the pen, covered Kaede head to toe. Somehow, Kaede found herself standing again, hands held out in front of herself, palms outward as her clothes vanished. She held the pose for only a second longer before thrusting a hand into the air, the pen dissolving into an electric yellow light that streamed down and wrapped around Kaede like a cocoon. As it wrapped around her, remaining there for a few seconds, it slowly turned into lightning, crackling as it suddenly exploded outward, revealing the new, darker senshi outfit on the girl; dark green with a black body like the first girl's.
Cronus opened her eyes, staring with raised eyebrows at herself. "What in the name of...?" she muttered before looking at Sailor Arawn, and then Smooth Shocker.

Smooth Shocker righted itself with a whirling hum comparable to the pant of a happy, if apparently incredibly dangerous, puppy. It was a bit wobbly, but that could probably be accounted for by the fact that it had bounced on top of a nerd that'd been tossed its way. It took a moment, wobbling about before it recognized a very important fact.
It had been sidetracked by the new toy, but it had forgotten to attend to her.
"CRONUS!" it buzzed excitedly, and still in full-fledged dangerously sparking mode mode, it bolted straight towards her. Its beautiful lady was finally there in all her shiny electric glory! Finally!
It was just so happy.

It didn’t take long for her suspicions to be confirmed. Before long Kaede had transformed into a senshi of the darker fuku colors and was decked out in green as her primary color match.
Interesting…let’s see how she plays.
As soon as Cronus revealed herself it seemed to put the blender on high speed. The creature careened after her with such intensity that Arawn wondered if it would be okay to leave the girl to her own devices. After all, one would only learn about their powers through the practice of trial and error.
Putting her hand up gingerly to her breast, Arawn focused her spiritual energy to come forth into her hands. A small flash of lavender light emanated the action before she took a pitcher’s step back and then the dark little seed softball-style in the blender’s direction.
“This should help slow it down a little,” she said to Cronus, “But I wouldn’t waste time if I were you.”

"CRONUS!"
Cronus took a step back when the blender came towards her, then outright jumped out of the way. For a split-second, she marveled how quick that had been...a bit quicker than usual for her, especially considering her current state--Wait a minute...Something was off.
Before she could dwell on it further, Arawn had attacked the blender-thing herself. “This should help slow it down a little. But I wouldn’t waste time if I were you.”
"Right..." Cronus muttered, staring with a slightly raised brow at the little creature. Her palms tingled slightly, and before she could think on that, she clapped her hands together, taking a step towards Smooth Shocker and flinging one of her palms outward. "Flash...Electrocution!" Lightning crackled around her hands and shot out towards the blender. Before Cronus could even see if it hit, she felt an odd feeling--sadness. She couldn't describe it, but she felt a strange sense of camaraderie towards the little blender...Attacking it made her feel upset a bit, and it had nothing to do with how cute it looked.
"Goodbye..."

It wasn't sure what it had expected, but the other not-nearly-as-shiny senshi hit it with a funny thing. It had wobbled before continuing its run towards Cronus, seemingly heedless of any interference. It snap-pop buzzed cheerfully, "Cronus!"
"Flash... Electrocution!" she cried in her pretty voice, and it really didn't register as it was struck. It seemed to topple, one wobbly arm reaching out with sharp little pincer claws waving towards her. She had given it something shiny, but it didn't seem to quite get that it'd been broken.
After a moment, the smoking heap turned its googly eyes on its beloved mistress, and it might have sounded sad as it murmured in a crackly, fading hum as it powered down, "The blender's a lie?"
Cronus would be fine now.
She was shiny, and it was nothing now but an everyday pink blender.

That had gone by pretty fast...a little too fast, Cronus thought with some disappointment. But it was fun while it lasted. Cronus knelt down, gingerly touching the remains of the blender. It wasn't doing anything now; just an everyday bit of junk that looked like it'd been tossed out. She couldn't quite explain it, but Cronus still felt a bit guilty over it, a little sad.
Shaking her head, she got back to her feet, staring blankly at Arawn for a few moments. Now what? She looked around a bit, noting there were still people around them, though a few had stopped running since the threat appeared to be taken care of. And here Cronus was right in plain sight. That...wasn't what was supposed to happen, was it? In superhero films, books, things like that, the hero would always leave after a fight. Cronus didn't really feel like a hero, though, but still...
Sending a small smile at Arawn, she nodded briefly. "...Thanks," she mumbled before taking off, ducking between buildings and making several other turns, til she was sure no one had followed her. Stopping and leaning against another building to catch her breath, Cronus felt an odd, brief warmth, saw a quick flash of light--and then she was Kaede again, the pen back in her hand. Kaede stared at it, confused, curious, and...happy. This pen had actually helped her do something that had been fun. She'd have to keep using this.
More importantly...Kaede lifted a hand to her forehead, still smiling faintly. Her head-ache was gone.
