Kyoutei had made the mistake of telling her uncle about her date plans yesterday. It had been a small thing--she had been hoping he'd give her advice--only for him to go into a squealing storm. He insisted she buy something nice for the eventual date--and had offered to shop with her.
She wasn't sure how she'd managed to fend him off when she left today. He'd given her money, telling her to buy something amazing, and the brunette had considered asking Kouin to come, but...
Well, it was embarrassing! She certainly couldn't ask Yuki either...
Sighing a little, she glanced to and fro from shop to shop, examining all the various clothing. "That seems kinda pretty..." she mumbled under her breath, looking at a frilly pink and white dress. "But it seems like a little much..." she added, picturing herself wearing it. Blushing, she continued on. What was she supposed to wear to a date anyways?!
"Maybe I should have asked someone to come with me..." she muttered, reaching in her pocket and bringing out her phone, her cutesy cellphone charms swaying back and forth. Taking a seat at the bench, she stared at her cellphone screen. Who could she call, anyways? No one, that's who. her thoughts answered and, frowning, she pocketed her phone again.
I don't see anyone I know either...

Hiyoke walked along the corridors of the mall, her hands stuffed into the pockets of her leather jacket, her eyes darting back and forth and whistling to herself. Really, she had no destination in mind, nothing really in mind to buy, she was just browsing and seeing what there was to see.
As she walked, Hiyoke glanced across the way to see a younger girl looking very un-confident and confused. Hiyoke cocked her head to one side and debated approaching the girl. Aw...why the hell not?
"Something bothering you, chibi-kun?" Hiyoke commented over the brunette's shoulder, looking down at her. "You look about ready to hide in your shirt."

At the older girl's first monotonous words, Kyoutei let out a startled noise of surprise, jerking forward and nearly falling off the bench she was sitting on. Awkwardly, she clung to the bottom of the bench, before getting herself back to a sitting position. "A-ah, sorry, you surprised me..." she said, her gentle voice sounding even quieter than usual. Fidgeting, she looked over her shoulder, seeing the older girl for the first time. Wow, she seems so cool...
Realizing she was staring, the younger girl stood up, turning to face the pink-and-blonde haired girl in full. "U-um! I, um, I'm not really good with choosing clothes for myself and..." At this point, she blushed heartily, "...u-um, I wanted to pick out a nice date outfit for m-my first date with--" she blushed even harder, "--with my boyfriend..."
After a moment, she flailed nervously. "N-not that I'm asking you to help me! Please, don't mind me at all!" she insisted, her ribbons bobbing around as she flailed around in embarrassment.

It seemed as if it was a day for Kyoutei to encounter people.
"Ahh, so it is Aijouno-san, then." A voice came from the other side of the petite brunette, and Michi raised a hand to her in greeting, grinning. "Fancy seeing you around these parts." She told her with a grin, before she seemed to notice that there was another person with her. A small frown seemed to cross her face, but it was only for a moment.
"Ah, sorry, were you meeting with your friend?" Michi's grin returned. "If that's the case, I surely hope that I didn't interrupt anything." She couldn't help but notice, however, that the girl looked more flustered than usual. Did something happen? Though curious, she stayed silent on the issue for the moment. It could wait.

This girl was just so damn cute, she was giving Hiyoke diabetes just looking at her. She smirked down at the flustered brunette, finding that embarrassment somehow adorable and endearing. Whomever she was meeting for a date was one lucky bloke.
"Ah, ah...I see chibi-kun," Hiyoke grinned, plopping down next to Kyoutei without an invitation or a second thought. "Though if you keep blushing like that, you're going to pass out. You're adorable, so I'm sure no matter what you wear, he'll love it either way. Besides, clothes don't make the person, eh?"
Hiyoke wasn't startled by the new arrival's appearance, cocking her head up to the androgynous person. She grinned at the girl - or boy, she couldn't tell - and gave an odd, monotonous chuckle.
"Nah...not interrupting anything. I'm just being friendly and invasive, eh?"

Bao-Yu was finishing up some shopping, loaded with several bags of new outfits with everything from blouses to bottoms, belts and accessories. She liked to shop for new fashions as much as she could muster the time because she adored looking at all the nifty designs. Unfortunately most of them stayed relegated to her closet since she was either in her school uniform or formal attire; but today she was decked out in a cute, black chenille top with designer boot-cut jeans and heeled shoes to match. Her hair was free from its usual pony buns and it was here where you got to see the full length of her raven black tresses that hung to the middle of her back. One would never have guessed it that long since it always looked so short when it was up.
Humming a merry little tune as she made her way out of the store, she passed by a small gaggle of girls. One in particular looked extremely flustered while another with exotic looking hair mentioned something about clothing that perked her attention. In most cases she would have left this scenario alone, but piecing together that the chestnut-haired girl was fretting over someone of the male persuasion, she decided to be nosy.
“Ah, pardon me,” Bao-Yu interjected, her bags swayed forward as she gave a polite bow to the group and then turned her attention happily toward Kyoutei, “I couldn’t help but overhear that you were, perhaps, having a bit of a clothing crisis? Would you mind if I offered some assistance?” Her aqua eyes scoped the timid girl up and down to get her colors and complexion set before setting down her bloated bags and rummaging through one of them in particular.
“Is this outing for a boy? I overheard something about a ‘he’ in your last statement,” she briefly glanced up in Hiyoke’s direction to specifically address the individual she had eavesdropped on before looking back down and finally finding what it was she was looking for. A quick “Aha!” escaped her lips before she pulled out a blue, long-sleeve, frill layered, box-cut neck blouse with a peek-a-book cut in the back. Bao-Yu had a look of satisfaction on her face as she displayed it in front of Kyoutei and smiled, “You want something classy, but with your features I think cute is also the route to go at the same time. Would you mind trying this on and letting me know what you think?”

Ahh, this kept getting more embarrassing by the second! The cool looking woman was telling her she was adorable--and she wasn't, she swore she wasn't--which made Kyoutei let out a squeak of embarrassment. "A-ah! N-no, I think you're mistaken, m-miss, I'm not cute--" she protested, again flailing around. At realizing how stupid she must have looked, however, she stopped herself, keeping her gaze firmly rooted on the floor, attempting to control her blushing.
At Michi's greeting, the girl hesitantly looked up, recognizing her classmate. She smiled a little, happy to see someone she knew, and returned his greeting with a sheepish wave. "A-ah! Ikidomari-kun!" she said in greeting, then blinked at Michi's question as to whether "he" was interrupting anything. She was about to shake her head and explain that she'd just met the pink-and-blonde haired woman when someone else made their presence known.
As Bao-Yu interjected, Kyoutei froze, eyes going wide. The girl felt a bit like a fan who was meeting their idol for the first time--she'd heard of Bao-Yu, yes, and seen her once or twice before, but it was incredibly...different to meet face to face. A million things ran through her mind, and the girl flushed again as Bao-Yu cheerfully directed her attention onto her. When the other girl brought out a cute blouse to try on, Kyoutei instinctively wanted to protest--but all that would come out was a mild squeak. She tried again, only for a slightly louder squeak to be uttered. Blushing harder at embarrassing herself in front of the sempai she admired, the girl simply nodded, taking the blouse in question.
"A-ah, um, thankyouverymuch!" she managed to say, eyes shut tight as she bowed in gratitude. "Illbejustamoment!" she promised before rushing off to find a bathroom to change in--and subsequently tripped and fell as a result. With a "I-I'm fine!" she hurried off again.

Michi was mildly annoyed when another person approached them, but she didn't let it show on her face. After all, if the end result was an even more flustered Kyoutei, how could she complain? It was cute, after all, her flustered face. It was part of the reason she was so interested in her.
"Hmmm, a date, huh?" She asked, catching Hiyoke's words. "I didn't hear about this at all, Aijouno-chan. How mean of you not to tell me!" She laughed, clearly teasing her a little bit. "That's such a shame, here I was thinking that we might have had something special between the two of us." For all intents and purposes, her words sounded like they were very good natured.
Glancing over towards Hiyoke, she grinned at the girl. "Ah well, do carry on then. Aijouno-chan here is a little shy," she looked in the direction Kyoutei had run off in, just catching her falling on the ground, "...which honestly probably goes without saying. She needs more people to come and talk to her, otherwise she's set to become a wall ornament."
Michi then turned to acknowledge Bao-Yu, frowning a little. She had seen her somewhere before- she was pretty sure they went to the same school, at least, but she couldn't recall her name. Giving her a nod in greeting, she wondered if there was something about the word 'date' that seemed to attract girls to come out of the woodwork.

It seemed as if this adorable little girl somehow had some kind of magnetism about her. Either that or this gaggle of young women with interesting hair and clothing styles just attracted more of the same type.
Well, except that black-haired girl. She seemed to look more normal then Hiyoke or the androgynous girl where.
Hiyoke placed her hands on the edge of the bench and leaned backwards slightly, swinging her feet back and forth. "Mmm...perhaps you're more suited to give fashion advice for a date then I would, fashion-kun." At this, she was addressing Bao-yu, "You dress far more classy then my love of leather and punk clothing, eh? Besides, I haven't been on a date in forever. Not that I mind."
She grinned up at Michi and cocked her head at her comments. "Oh...is someone a little jealous of chibi-kun's date? Don't worry...you're pretty cute yourself, in your own way...I'm sure someone will nab your ass somewhere along the line." This, of course, was a joke on Hiyoke's part; but naturally, it came out totally not the right way for a joke, due to her monotonous lull.

Happy to see Kyoutei take the blouse and stammer off with it, Bao-Yu blinked a few times extra when she watched the girl stumble to the ground before dashing off to the dressing room. As the other two conversed, she picked up on the facial expressions of the one that could have been either a girl or a boy at this point. The slight frown towards her was followed up with a nod, and Bao-Yu could only smile back and sweetly say, “Does something displease you about me giving the girl a blouse?”
When Hiyoke added in her opinion of the thing, she simply waved a hand politely to somewhat refute the statement, “Fashion is kind of a light hobby of mine. Hopefully this will help her out a little.” That’s all Bao-Yu was going to say on the matter. Casually she checked her wristwatch real quick to catch the time. Then she fished out her cell phone to re-read the text she had received from her friend earlier today. Tucked within her plethora of items was an umbrella in case it rained, as her friend predicted. Had it been anyone else she would have poo-poohed the idea completely. But something gave her reason to believe otherwise today.
Pushing the phone back in her purse and looking back over towards the dress room, Bao-Yu waited patiently for Kyoutei to come out.

Changing was pretty simple, as it was just a blouse, but Kyoutei found herself fretting. As nice as it was for her sempai to give her something to try on, she certainly couldn't keep it, even if it was offered! No, that wouldn't be very polite at all...
The girl tugged at her ribbons as she checked herself over in the mirror. It was pretty, but--
Well, there was an issue of filling it out. The girl felt herself paling at her rather small bust size and cringed a little. Still, it did seem pretty! Besides, she hoped that Yuki wouldn't mind much anyways, he didn't seem like the type to want a different size for her--unless he did? Ahhh, what if he did? Would she need to get something different? Gah, this was so confusing!
Taking a deep breath, she peeked out of the dress room, seeing Bao-Yu. Biting her lip, her cheeks tinted pink again and she tried valiantly to mask that fact. "U-um. D-does it look okay...?" she asked, a slight hope in her voice. Silently, she prayed no one would laugh at her--just because she thought it looked okay didn't mean she actually did look okay, right?

Hiyoke cocked a smirk back at Bao-yu when she commented about her hobby in fashion. It certainly seemed as if the younger girl had a keen eye for such things, if her dress did not say it, her taste in clothing certianly did. Not that it was a bad thing; Hiyoke had respect for fashion herself just...on the opposite end of the spectrum.
"Eh...I suppose leather and boots are more of my thing, eh? At least I don't think I look half bad in them."
Hiyoke turned her attention off to the side as she spotted the young brunette stumbling back, her face bright red with flush. Once again, Hiyoke grinned. She rose from her seat and approached the other girl, reaching out and ruffling her hair.
"You look even more adorable then you did before, chibi-kun." Hiyoke encouraged in her own strange way, "It suits you...don't you think fashion-kun?" She directed her gaze back towards Bao-yu again, grinning over at her.

Nodding with a look of satisfaction on her face, Bao-Yu agreed with the punk rock looking girl. “It suits you nicely indeed! Partner it up with some cute shorts and boots cut under the knees. Or you can match it with some jeans and then wear some low heeled dress shoes and I think you’ll be all set.”
At this point she was interrupted again by the sound of her cell phone chirping at her. Pausing to take a look at the caller, she then hit the button that pushed it to voicemail but realized she had to disengage herself from the group. “I apologize for the abrupt need to leave, but I really must be on my way.”
Smiling to Kyoutei she replied, “Please keep it as a token of good luck on your date! ♥” With that, she picked up her bags and gave Kyoutei a reassuring gesture that she would look great before disappearing into the crowd of shoppers to make her way out of the mall.

Kyoutei was fairly certain her face had flushed when the punk woman told her she looked even more adorable, and it was only Bao-Yu's presence that kept her from protesting the adorable point. She didn't want to look silly in front of her sempai! She muttered a thank you, briefly wondering if Michi's silence was because he didn't like it. It discouraged her a little, but the girl quickly forgot about it when Bao-Yu started talking. She fought the urge to squeak out in surprise, instead just turning a deeper shade of red at the compliment that it suited her nicely. Nervously, she nodded as the other girl told her what to wear with it, jumping a little as Bao-Yu's cellphone rang.
The brunette simply nodded as her sempai mentioned she had to be on her way--and then let out a squeak of surprise as the girl told her to keep the blouse. No, no, she couldn't! It simply wouldn't be very polite! Kyoutei tried to voice her protests, but the words wouldn't come--her desire to not be imposing was countered by the fact she wanted to stay in the girl's good graces--and without thinking, the girl bowed low. "A-ah! T-t-thankyouverymuch!" she said, watching as Bao-Yu took off. She stood there for another moment, still trying to process what had happened. Oh, she'd definitely have to repay her sempai for the act of kindness!
After another moment, she realized that the punk woman and Michi were still there. Blushing again, she whirled around to face them. "A-ah! Sorry, I-I um, didn't expect Koekami-sempai to do that." she said with a sheepish smile.

"Well, it looks like you're all set for your date, then." Hiyoke droned on, her eyes rolling up towards the ceiling. At this moment, she wanted a smoke, but had to fight the urge due to being indoors. Her aqua eyes looked back down towards the blushing brunette, grinning over at her.
Rising to her feet, Hiyoke reached a hand out and ruffled Kyoutei's hair.
"If you keep blushing like that, you might faint from all of that blood rushing to your head," She suggested towards the flustered youth, "I'm sure regardless of what you wear, your boyfriend will love it either way, right?" Hiyoke watched Bao-yu hurry off, then glanced back down towards Kyoutei.
"Well, now you really are all set. Just get a cute skirt and I think you'll be good to go. No use in arguing, either; we're both in agreement that you look fine...or at least when fashion-kun was still around." Hiyoke flashed a thumbs up towards Kyoutei and a bright grin of encouragement.
The girl really needed it.
