Fusha was often not the sort to go to the mall. However, she somehow found herself there, recalling the events that lead her to that point.
Akihiko, the eldest after Fusha, had a birthday coming up. With her mother ill and her father busy working, Fusha was given the task to do the birthday shopping for her. The family had pooled their funds to buy her one nice gift and a birthday cake, and so she found herself in the mall, trying to come up with something wonderful to get for her younger sister.
Fusha had already been in a few shops and found nothing that really meant something to Akihiko. Sure, there were always the materialistic things such as CD's or a new manga, but she and the family wanted to get something that was nice, and would last the soon-to-be 16 year old girl. Of course, Akihiko just wanted those silly possessions at that age, but meaning was more important then form.
At least in Fusha's eyes they were.
With an empty sigh, the quiet girl continued on her quest. Her eyes glanced at storefronts and tried to find someplace nice to go into, and for a brief instant she was not completely aware of her surroundings, bumping into someone softly.
"Oh...!" She gasped, taking a step back and looking over to the person she had bumped into, "Ah...do forgive me, I was not watching where I was going, lost within my own little world. I do hope you are not hurt."

Sighing heavily, he found himself inescapably bored. There was no chaos to be found or created, so he had decided to go on a girl hunt. Where would one find girls? At the mall, without a doubt.. along with many shiny things to catch his attention. So here he was, looking for a girl that was deserving of someone such as he - beautiful, strong, confident, well-to-do, and charming.. and that was only the beginning. There were many things he could say about himself, but he found that most females found that rather boring and a turn-off.. why that was, he truly didn't know.
His rose red eyes scanned his surroundings before he turned to browse a display case filled with brand new jewelry. Jewelry any woman could appreciate.. and if they were like him, any man as well. Though he found that very few men were like him, which he thought to be disappointing but a positive sign at the same time. If he found a man just like him, that would mean that he was not as uniquely beautiful as he knew he was. That would be a crime in itself.. but if he didn't, that would mean that as beautiful as he was, he could have all of the women to himself, leaving none for the others.. which was a very good thing indeed. "Can I help you, Sir?" the girl at the counter asked him. Looking up from the sparkling temptations that sat just a few inches away from his hand, he smiled as his long red hair fell invitingly down in front of his shoulder to cover part of his face. "No, thank you.. I'm simply browsing at the moment," he purred at her, leaning in closer. "But I do know of something else you can do for me," he began, flirting his way towards her name and phone number.. after that came her thoughts and most likely her bed.. but first things first.
Before he could ask for either one, he was jarred by the action of someone running into him from the side. Rather annoyed and put off by the interruption, he straightened up and glared in the direction of the person, a frown beginning to show on his face. He was about to give the person a peice of his mind in a not-so-nice manner, but when the girl looked up, he blinked, taken aback by her startlingly beautiful sea-green eyes. Well now.. maybe being interrupted isn't so bad after all, he thought, as his frown slowly turned into a wolfish smile. "Oh, no.. it's quite alright," he told the young woman as he gently put the fingertips of his left hand underneath her chin. "I must apologize for being so negligent. Had I not been in your way, you wouldn't have run into me. I hope you're not hurt, Miss...?" He let his sentence trail off, hinting at the end that he would like to know her name.. if she would give it to him, that was.

The subtle change in mood from the moment she pumped into the gentleman, to the moment he set eyes upon her. That seductive stare, that wolfish grin; it was something Fusha had experienced in the past, but no man had ever been so froward.
Upon feeling those fingertips gently brush against her chin, Fusha felt the blood begin to rush to her cheeks, turning them a soft rosy color. Although her outwards expression did not change aside from the flush, she did take a step back away from those soft fingers.
"...Gekijakuto." Came her soft response to the dangling, unasked question that the man presented, though Fusha did not give him her given name. "Perhaps, then, we are both at fault, Mister...?" Two could play at the game, though Fusha's intentions were far more pure then his own.

"Motou.. Tetsuya, if you like.. and perhaps we are, but I would still like to make a gesture of apology. I find that words are so often misused these days, and that actions speak far better in terms of intentions.. so could I quite possibly interest you in something to drink? Your choice, of course.. I wouldn't think of choosing for you. It's just that you seem so tired and thirsty from shopping for.." He paused, tilting his head slightly, making his hair ease off of his back and drape down to his side, showing just how long it was. It stopped near his waist, thicker and silkier than any woman's. It had a slight wave to it and made his eyes seem blood red in comparison. "What is it you are shopping for, exactly, Miss Gekijakuto? If I may ask, that is. My apologies if I'm being too forward or too bold in doing so." He truly wished she had shared her first name instead.. it would've been much easier. He assumed, though, in sharing her surname, that she did not trust him enough just yet to share it. That can easily be changed, he thought, his eyes glittering down at her with wicked intent.
He took a moment to look her over and assess her appearance.. it seemed rather simple in comparison to his own, but if he could say so - and he could - he still looked far better than anyone he'd seen today. Dressed in a simple pair of form-fitting jeans, a black t-shirt tucked into those jeans, a black leather jacket, and matching black leather boots, he looked both casual as well as sexy and successful. The way he looked, he figured every woman in here should be following him around like little lost puppies.. but they weren't. He wasn't going to lie, this one fact irked him greatly, but whatever.. their loss. He leaned against the display case with the jewelry in it as he waited for her to answer.. if she would. So far, she hadn't been completely open with him.. but within him, there was a shining light of hope hinged on that changing.. and soon.

So this...Tetsuya...he was awfully forward and forthcoming towards women, Fusha noted. There where a lot of men like him in the world, pig-headed and believing that all women would want them, for woman were mindless animals who needed a man to be around.
Frankly, Fusha wasn't pleased with how he was talking to her. But...he did dress nicely and he was in a nice store. Perhaps he would have some suggestions for what to get, as Fusha was...well, awful at his whole shopping-for-nice-things...thing. Even her drab dress displayed this.
"Well then, Motou-san," She said softly, her tone as even and clean as it usually was, "I am in a great search within a land in which I am unfamiliar. As I am sure you can tell by my garb and confused look, I am not used to shopping in malls. You seem to be familar with girls...could you perhaps suggest a gift for my younger sister for her birthday? I am having no luck."

He laughed, and for a moment, it sounded quite genuine and kind.. but that certainly wasn't the type of man he was or wished to be. "Onegai.. Tetsuya. I'm only twenty-four.. Motou-san makes me sound far too old." His wolfish smile warmed up, perfectly complimenting his laugh. Unfortunately, neither one matched who he was on the inside and never would - in his opinion, anyway. Many of his friends, if you could call them that, said that love would change him one day, but that day had yet to come. Most wished that it would hurry and get here so they could see how warm and kind he truly could be, but their prayers had yet to be answered.
"You seem as if you're on another continent, looking for something that doesn't exist. It's alright, though. Fortunately, you're right - I'm quite familiar with girls, as long as they're of legal age." He winked at her flirtatiously before continuing, sure she would get the hint. "Younger sister, hm? How old would this younger sister be? If I am to help you with a gift, I wouldn't want to get one for the wrong age range.. that would be quite embarassing, and I have a feeling she wouldn't appreciate it." As it was, he was currently coming up with ideas for gifts, and most were rather expensive for a girl like her, but not for him. If she needed it, he would be more than happy to pay for part of it. It would do nothing less than endear her to him, he figured, and that would simply make it easier for him to win her over completely.

"Ah...of course, Tetsuya-san." Came Fusha's response to his instance of calling him on the more familiar, fist-name basis. It didn't please her to do so, but if she was getting help, maybe it was a bit more polite to call him like that...
Fusha gave another once-over of her odd companion, noting his fancy dress and the fancy store he had been in. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea...
"My sister is going to be 16 years old. However..." Fusha said softly, "...We don't want to get her something too...superfluous in nature, or something that she will simply outgrow as she grows with age. More over, even with everyone in our family pooling money, there is not a lot, so perhaps something as expensive as jewelry is a bit out of our price-range."
With that, Fusha waited to see what Tetsuya would recommend...and was actually a little curious as to what he would offer to her in the end as well.

"Ah, sixteen.. such a lovely age," he started to muse, but she kept speaking, making him pause. Nodding slowly, he continued when she was done. "I understand completely.. but no woman outgrows jewelry." He held up a hand to stop any complaints she may have voiced. "I know you said your family couldn't afford it, but let's at least look at our options before we dismiss it entirely. Besides that, if you like, I can help you pay for anything you find that you'd like to get her. I'm sure that what your family's gathered - no offense - won't buy much."
He turned to the display case beside them. "For instance, this beautiful necklace right here is only nine-thousand yen. Far beyond affordable for me, but if you like, we can split the cost." He shrugged. "If jewelry isn't her style - and I doubt that since nearly every woman I know loves jewelry - we can search for something else. What does she like?"

Fusha's brows furrowed when the first option that game to Tetsuya's mind was, in fact, jewelry. It was not an out-and-out frown, but more like a look of concern, as she did not completely agree with his reasoning.
"And what is it that makes you believe that all girls like martial possessions, such as jewelry?" She said sternly, "Just because those that would surround you feel that way does not mean that all like those things. For example, I do not care for jewelry much. I do not even have my ears pierced because I find it useless and unessisary. Although my sister is a sixteen year old girl, she feels the same."
Fusha didn't even give the jewelry case a second look before continuing on with her point. "Besides, I cannot accept money or a treat from you, Tetsuya-san, as I hardly even know you. It would be most...improper. Can you not think of something else, perhaps more within my price range?"

"I believe the word you were looking for is material, and I did not say all - I said most. There's a difference, no matter how slight. Aside from this, I did ask what she would like if she doesn't like jewelry, did I not? That means I'm open to any ideas you may have." He sighed to prevent himself from becoming rather frustrated at the girl. "Now.. do you mind telling me how much you have to spend so I can come up with other ideas? Maybe even give me a few hints as to what she's like so I can help you choose something? Having to guess is frustrating both of us, and I'd really like to avoid that entirely."
He paused as a moue of disappointment crossed his otherwise beautiful and flawless face. "That, however, I do agree with. I apologize for insulting you if I did. I simply offered because I thought you would appreciate the gesture, seeing that you have very little to spend on your beloved sister at all." He knew that sounded rather rude, even though he'd apologized, but it was the truth as far as he was concerned. Beyond this, he had no idea how he would earn the girl's trust and devotion, unless something she had yet to say would give him an idea.

Fusha's brows furrowed into deep, concerned lines the more Tetsuya spoke to her. He was actually starting to annoy her at this point, and she half-wished that she had not asked him for his advice in the first place.
Giving a low sigh, Fusha shook her head. "Never mind, then, Tetsuya-san. I do not believe we will see eye-to-eye on this matter, no matter how level we try to make ourselves."
She turned on her heel and started to head out of the store, giving a small prayer that Tetsuya wouldn't try to stop her. Somehow, Fusha had a feeling that he would grab her or something, and was begining to dread what would come of it.

"We won't, hm? Well that's a pity. I simply wanted to help, but if you think that we can't reach some sort of agreement on what your sister would like for her birthday that's within your price range, then I can only wish you luck, Gekijakuto-chan." He spoke as if he was truly disappointed in having not gained her trust, but in earnest, he knew that there would be other girls that would probably give in much easier than she.
He shrugged slightly and turned back to the salesgirl from before, giving her a bright, wolfish smile. Looking at the young girl over his shoulder as she walked off, he called out one last thing. "I hope you don't get too terribly lost in the unknown world that are the stores around here." He sighed, doing his best to sound disappointed. "I can't say I didn't offer my help, though."

As she began to walk away, Fusha heard the disappointed tone that came from Tetsuya and she debated if he actually meant what he said, or if he was trying to butter her up.
Still, she felt bad about walking off like this and found that her actions where coming off as rude. Sighing, she stopped walking and glanced over her shoulder back towards Tetsuya. Sometimes, she could be too nice for her own good.
"...Why don't we walk together, at least, Tetsuya-san?" Fusha offered, "Perhaps we can find something on common ground, even if it is not regarding gifts."
Somehow, Fusha felt that she would be regretting this later.

He grinned, doing his best to avoid it looking too devious. "That would be wonderful," he replied, accepting her offer. "I apologize again if I offended you at all earlier. It was most certainly not my intention, I assure you."
Coming to stand beside her, he looked down at her from his taller height, his smile charming. "I do hope we can find common ground on something, as you said, because the last thing I want to do is upset a pretty girl such as yourself.. or your sister, for that matter."
He looked up, scanning the various outlet stores' signs with his rose red eyes. "Now.. where do you suggest we start? You said no jewelry, so that's out. Clothing she would outgrow.. same for shoes. Does she have any hobbies? Crafting, painting, things like that?"
He truly was at a loss as to what to get the girl. This was an odd child, to be sure. Not like jewelry? Who'd ever heard of such? Certainly not him. It was something that boggled the mind.. especially if that mind belonged to a male.

Fusha walked along the main hall that circled around the mall, her eyes drifting back and forth between shops and to Tetsuya, who still seemed adamant on helping her. She gave a small sigh, wondering if this was really the best course of actions, but at least he seemed to mean well.
"For one...my sister is not like many 16 year old girls you may come across," Fusha informed casually, "Our family is very strong and we do firmly believe in worth instead of the material. Although she does enjoy some of those boy bands...some anime too, but she is as fickle as any 16 year old and her tastes frequently change. Even her hobbies change...so you can see why I am in such a predicament." She gave another sigh, this one exasperated in her failed attempt to try to think what she could get for her sister...only to realize that her tastes often changed with each passing day.
"So...I am not sure what I should get her that has meaning and worth, but that she will not grow tired of with age...and I am quite lost as to what to get for her..."
